Hi
When doing domain transfer operation, I see old registrar getting a
message about the operation in the poll queue but I am unable to
trigger an email to the old registrar. It looks as if Fred should
support such type of email. Proper row also gets inserted into
mail_archive. The row has status 1 and moddate unset. How do I get
those emails sent out?
I am running pyfred in testmode but I also have tester set. I managed
to get "Accepted advance payment" email from Fred, so emails in
general should work. Also, server.conf has "disable_epp_notifier =
false"
Could someone give me an overview how email notification system works in Fred.

domain transfer triggers two notification:
- email to registrant (domain owner)
- poll message to old and new registrar
so, there are no emails to any registrar.

New subject: daily backup of fred
Are there any best practices on how to backup fred ?
Im actually thinking about the data in the postgresql database, which are
changing every day.
For example is it enough to make a postgresql dump, or are there other
things to think about, for example config files etc. ?

We do just daily backup using pg_dump. Our config files are centrally
managed by puppet (http://www.puppetlabs.com/) si it's not necessary to
do any backups. But we also have two copies of database synchronized
online using slony (http://www.slony.info/) so in case of crash we can
just switch database servers.

Our system, based on Fred, has been working very fine so far.
But today we experienced a strange error.
Fred dont want to create one domain name called wolf.fo.
Does anyone know why i get this error ?
