The issue I raised on backup and restore on FRED is not restricted to PostgreSQL, I am
thinking of the whole FRED system where the PostgreSQL database is only one part.
If you consider the task of building a duplicate or backup server or registry site for the
FRED
registry, there are many more issues that one needs to take care of rather than just the
database. We have done this for the first time last month on the Malawi .mw ccTLD registry
with an experienced FRED registrar and it took more than a few days to get it right.
In this section of the documentation you could also include replication of a FRED registry
instance..

administration manual for the FRED.
I think you are of those who would appreciate this new piece of
documentation and therefore, I would like to ask you about your opinions
on what topics this manual should comprise, which questions it should
