It really works!! I just made a stupid mistake and my test-script crashed when it tried to
launch a poll query. That's the reason I got the wrong message from my buffer back
*grr*
Thanks a bunch and sorry for taking your time Jaromir!!!
Cheers

Hi Jaromir,
thanks a lot for looking this up. It sounds strange to me, since exactly the same code
works for a TLS connection with DNS-LU (only difference is they do not use client
certificates).
Anyway what you say makes sense. But now that I think about it: I have tried the
fred-client as well and it works nicely and you may see those messages in the logs.
I have just now tried one last time with clTRID "FREDA-1333548256-b5bf9" and
will not use the fred-client anymore. Does it seem OK to you? Could you confirm the EPP
server responded with a status message to my login attempt?
I see the same as before, server replied correctly with result code
1000, now the answer sent back is
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<epp xmlns="urn:ietf:params:xml:ns:epp-1.0"
xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"
xsi:schemaLocation="urn:ietf:params:xml:ns:epp-1.0 epp-1.0.xsd">
<response>
<result code="1000">
<msg>
Command completed successfully
</msg>
</result>

<clTRID>

</clTRID>
<svTRID>

</svTRID>
</trID>
</response>
</epp>

Jaromir
Thanks!

Hi Gunter,
I went to logs and seems to me that you are connected correctly and you
made quite a lot of successful EPP queries since then. What you
described looks like you are reading from tcp stream the answer from
previous query, so maybe there is some problem in EPP client you use.

Jaromir

Dear Sirs,
I am currently trying to run my EPP client against the fred testbed server
"epp.demo.fred.nic.cz" (connection and certificate work perfectly).
But unfortunately I get a "greeting" response when I send a "login"
request. Maybe you can tell me what I am missing (my last clTRID was
FREDA-1333540552-b4bcf)?
I'll attach a dump of the hello+login commands I sent "OUT" together with
the responses I got back "IN".
Thanks in advance!
Günther
