Hello,
Does somebody know how to change protection period for expired domains?
Can it be configured from a configuration file or shall I modify the
database entry (if yes which entry shall I modify)?

I have just found some database entry but I am not sure if this is the
parameter which I need to modify. Check this out:
select * from enum_parameters ;
id | name | val
----+-------------------------------------------+------------
3 | expiration_notify_period | -30
4 | expiration_dns_protection_period | 30
5 | expiration_letter_warning_period | 34
6 | expiration_registration_protection_period | 45 <- this one
