Hi,
this is my changeset of fred-client to support server which require verification using CA
Root Certificates
https://github.com/chenull/fred-client/commit/db293708cec5fe2e2856b8cafa7f1…
the corresponding fred-client.conf would be:
[connect]
dir=/home/user/.virtualenvs/fred/share/fred-client/ssl
host = 1.2.3.4
port = 700
ssl_cert = /opt/user/certs/cert.pem
ssl_key = /opt/user/certs/keys/server-nopass.key
ca_certs = /opt/user/certs/cacert.pem
username = username
password = password
;username2 = REG-FRED_B
;password2 = passwd
the cacert.pem file can be obtained from http://curl.haxx.se/ca/cacert.pem
NOTE: i only modified for the python 2.6 ssl.wrap_socket part. the python 2.5 part is
unchanged

Hi,
i think it will attract more people to elaborate with fred.
i edited fred-client in file client_socket.py and session_transfer.py to support Server
side SSL verification (using ca_certs kwargs). i just want to contribute back to fred.
