Hello again,
I've got the same error when trying to configure dnstap on Knot with
dnstap module support turned off.
When building Knot, some features (including dnstap) are off by default,
and need to be specified explicitly. Please try rebuilding Knot, while
adding --enable-dnstap to configure script parameters. Hope this helps.
Anyway, I agree that the error message is rather confusing.
Hezký den,
Libor

Hello Libor,
the typo was in config file too, but situation is the same after correction.
To be sure, there is part of config copied from server again without typo :)
mod-dnstap:
- id: capture_all
sink: /tmp/capture.tap
template:
- id: default
global-module: mod-dnstap/capture_all
global-module: mod-stats
