Hi Leo,
for platforms that don't support __atomic_*, there's a libatomic
library from GCC, but I have no idea how to turn the native clang
implementation off in such case.
In any case, it's a clang bug/missing-implementation of __atomic
functions, as a backup plan, you can always compile it with gcc
(oh, the heresy :).

Also this LLVM Diff that seems to fix something related:

Cheers,

Subject: [knot-dns-users] problem with Knot 2.4.0 on FreeBSD 10.3 and 11.0 - i386
Hi,
I tried to install knot 2.4.0 on FreeBSD 10.3 & 11.0.
On amd64 these complete fine, however on i386 they don't:

https://dns.company/downloads/knot2/knot2-2.4.0_110i386.log
Is there anything I can do better to prevent this?

With kind regards,
