Hi,
Is this virtual memory consumption a real problem? The allocation cannot
be simply controlled. Also configuration and timers databases reserve some
extra space for possible growth. Probably, we could add some environment variables for
controlling these limits in the future. You can also try to modify the limits by hand
if you compile from the source (look for lmdb_opts.mapsize in knot/conf/base.c and
NAMEDB_LMDB_MAPSIZE in libknot/internal/namedb/namedb_lmdb.h).

Dan

Hi
Knot DNS v2.0.0 reserves up to 620 MB memory on my Raspberry Pi.
But it actually uses only 0.4 % of the available 512 MB memory.
How can I limit the memory reservation/allocation to 100 MB?

shadice
