How do i delete one Domain ONLY from DNS ?
I cannot find any command for this in fred-client. Is there a (python?) command for this
?
I need to do this, because when one Domain expires, we first want to delete it only from
DNS, and the later delete the domain completely from the system.

There is a status list associated with each domain. If domain has status
outZone it's not generated to zone file. If you periodically call
'fred-admin --object_regular_procedure' from cron every day status is
updated automatically. Domain will get outzone flag 30 days after
expiration. 45 day after expiration, domain will be delete. Both
parameters can be updated in enum_parameter (id=4 and id=6).
You can also set these statuses manually, but this procedure is a little
bit complicated. First you have to create status change request using
'fred-admin --object_new_state_request=STATE_ID --object_id=DOMAIN_ID'.
If you want to put it into zone, STATE_ID=6. If you want to put it out
of the zone, STATE_ID=5. Then you have to go to sql console and call
'SELECT update_object_states(DOMAIN_ID);' This request has validity
(default 7 days) specified in table object_state_requests. After
validity expire, status is cleared. Using this method you can override
default behaviour specified in first paragraph.

--object_regular_procedure
is only a shortcut for these commands:
shortcut for 2x update_object_states,
notify_state changes,
poll_create_statechanges,
object_delete_candidates,
poll_create_low_credit,
notify_letters_create
is it possible only to run 2 of these commands ?
and if yes, what is the command for running them ? for example, if i want to only run
object_delete_candidates, what do i write on the prompt ?

2) Is it not possible to set the status permanently to outZone for one Domain ? Or as long
as you would like to put it out of zone ?
3) Is it possible to put one domain ONLY inZone, but not create it in the system ?

I meant that there shortcut fred-admin command
(---object_new_state_request) that do nothing but insert into
object_state_request table. It fills column valid_to to current_date +
7. If you will insert this row manually, you can specify any valid_to
data (or null if you don't want to limit this change)
If you will do it using fred-admin, you will have to update this row in
sql.
2) Is it not possible to set the status permanently to

If you will specify valid_to=null in object_state_request table it will be permamently
outzone

No, you have to register domain before you can do anything with it. Of
course you can modify generated zone file and insert such domain
directly there using other methods then Fred.

you can run all these commands individually
and if yes, what is the command for running them ? for

but if you will not call update_object_states, no object will gain
status "delete_candidate" so this command will do nothing.

I inserted this into object_state_request:
"insert into object_state_request (object_id, state_id, valid_to) values
(123456, 5, NULL)"
and it works fine. The domain is outzoned.
Then i want to put it in zone again, so i inserted this:
"insert into object_state_request (object_id, state_id, valid_to) values
(123456, 6, NULL)"
but now i got a problem. The domain is not put into zone again, and whois
answers:
------
Domain is administartively kept out of zone
Domain is administartively kept in zone
Domain is not generated into zone
------
I guess instead of inserting a new record with state = 6, i should DELETE
the record with state = 5
is that correct ?

Exactly! You cannot have two competing requests, you have to close first
request. The best way is to update row and set
canceled=current_timestamp. This way you will have a history of
requests.
