Hi Ealden,
FRED doesn't support RFC3915 grace period. In FRED there is no price for
transfer from one registrar to another so there is no need to return
credit to registrar after delete of domain. Right now we don't support
returning credit to registrar after renewal and registrations -
responsible registrars should not register or renew domain when they not
sure it's real registration (i.e. wait for confirmation from bank).
However, we discussed this possibility a few times, so this may change
in future.
FRED has several grace periods to protect owners of domains from
accidental lost. After domain expires it's hold active for some time (1
month in .cz) and owner is informed about this state. After this period,
domain is technically disabled (not generated into zone file) but there
is another period (1 month .cz) when domain is still registered. We
againg inform owner about situation. After these two grace periods,
domain is deleted and made available for registraion.
Regards,
Jaromir

Hi everyone,
We are currently looking into FRED for our needs, and would like to confirm if it
supports RFC3915 or Domain Registry Grace Period Mapping.

Thanks in advance!
