Hello Samer
If you're certain that FRED is started and Apache module for EPP is working as well,
then you should
configure registrar accounts (with login, password and SSL key). Then you should use them
in
fred-client. (As written before, AFAIR.)
To see more detailed info about actions taken by fred-client and possible failure reason,
you can
run it with -v3. (Or something like that, fred-client --help will tell you more.)
Best

  hi Mario,
I was able to initiate the db and add a registrar with a zone as u
 suggested. i used:
   fred-admin --registrar_add --handle=NIC-REG1 --country=LB --no_vat
   fred-admin --zone_add --zone_fqdn=test.lb <http://test.lb> --ex_period_min=1
 --ex_period_max=241 --hostmaster=samerk1.gmail.com <http://samerk1.gmail.com>
 --ns_fqdn=nic0.net.lb--refresh=1800
  fred-admin --zone_ns_add --zone_fqdn=test.lb <http://test.lb>
 --ns_fqdn=nic0.net.lb--addr=147.28.0.44
Now what's next? I am looking for a good documentation for
Fred Administration and user guide. Do you have any to share?
 thanks,
  Same

Almost done. Associate the zone with the registrar:
     registrar_add_zone options:
--registrar_add_zone add access right for registrar to zone
       --zone_fqdn arg zone fqdn
       --handle arg registrar handle
--from_date arg from date (default today)
--to_date arg to date (default not filled)
     Like:
     fred-admin --registrar_add_zone --zone_fqdn test.lb <http://test.lb> --handle
NIC-REG1
After that, you are supposed to use fred-client.
