Dear Sirs,

on May 15, 2018 at 9:00 PM to May 16, 2018 at 5:00 AM (the timing will be in the zone CEST - Central European Summer Time) the planned registration system shutdown will be carried out. We will deploy a new updated version of the registry that includes changes to GDPR.

Due to the fact that the shutdown will be "over midnight", all DeleteCandidate Domains for May 15, 2018 will be deleted at the start of the shutdown.

At that time there will not be available information associated with the registry in the Intranet - credit status, list of invoices and expired domains of registrars. Furthermore, the EPP system, web/unix WHOIS and RDAP; displaying a list of registrars; establishing requests for authinfo, blocking and unblocking; mojeID profile editor, interface for creating mojeID accounts and login into the domain browser will not work as well.

The EPP server policy and behavior changes regarding setting up contact data hiding.

The original server policy was "we publish the data if the end user (contact) does not explicitly ask to hide the data. On the contrary, the new server policy is "we hide the data if the contact does not explicitly request to disclosure/publish the data".

The only exception is for the data "name" and "organization", which remain visible/disclosed at all times.

The "address" data will be hiden for verified data.

The current state and the new version state is in details with examples of behavior
described here: https://www.nic.cz/page/3760/zmeny-epp-souvisejici-s-gdpr/
(technical description)

When deploying a new FRED version, individual settings for optionally disclosed data for
all contacts in the registry will be overwritten according to the new
server policy, that means
all data (except of "name", "organization" and in case of unverified contacts "address" as well) will be hidden.

A complete overview of the changes in the new FRED version will be listed at
https://fred.nic.cz/documentation/html/ReleaseNotes/

All these changes are already implemented on the cz-test instance and you need to apply changes to your systems.

At the same time, if you are using our EPP client, it is necessary to upgrade to the version 2.10.0, which will work with Fred 2.36 and Fred 2.37 - to download at https://www.nic.cz/page/744/registracni-system/

In case of any questions do not hesitate to contact me.

We apologize for any inconvenience caused.
