sorry about the long delay, your e-mail was one of those held up by our system.

You have probably figured it out by now, but just in case, the kdig utility may be installed as part of the 'knot-utils' package (coming from the Knot DNS autoritative server team). The 'knot-resolver' package installs the Knot Resolver server and is not needed for kdig to function.

PS: Your distro is probably not Fedora 8, that one has reached end-of-life sometime in 2009 and its repositories are probably not even working anymore. Based on the provided logs, you seem to be using Oracle Linux?

I am trying to install kdig utility in Linux fedora 8.8 but not successful.

 

I took the reference from https://www.knot-resolver.cz/download/

 

Tried below:

 

# yum install -y epel-release
