No definitive "plans" yet, but this is certainly something we will
consider when designing the automated KSK rollover.
If you are considering an automated mechanism for updating registrars, I'd suggest some sort of plugin mechanism so that it's easy for operators to implement against their own registrar's flavour of API.. or against their own pre-existing internal tools.
