Ok, I'm trying on Ubuntu 12 and use the fred repo.
Getting dep. errors again.

Here is the error:

My recommendation would be, if possible, to install Ubuntu 12.04 and then
add the fred.nic.cz repository and install FRED with:<

apt-get install fred

I hope this helps.
